Did you ever ask yourself how far will you go to save a dog? If you see a stray dog, how much time can you devote to rescue it? The following story shows a woman who took the time to save a poor dog and waited patiently to earn the dog’s trust. It took time, but it was worth it.
The woman actually did her best to earn the dog’s trust. Her name is Amanda. Amanda even laid down and waited for the dog to relax. Amanda learned of the stray dog when she was spotted in a post about a dog at Evans Creek, an off-road vehicle parking lot.
The poor dog was debilitated. It was the night that Amanda and her friend Dylan came here to help the dog. They found the dog sitting by the roadside. They tried to convince him with some food, but that did not get them very far. They then went back to town to get more food. When they returned the next day, they were more prepared. And they found the dog on the same spot.
They named the dog Bear. But even with a lot of food, you can’t get close. So Amanda laid down to the ground just so she can built trust. Amanda was crawling towards the dog and as she approached, she at first growled at the dog. Amanda grunted and yawned. She was a calming sign.
Then Amanda walked closer until she was next to him. Then the dog began to embrace her. After hours of trying to reach the dog, he finally allows her to pet him. And after her two hours of caressing him, the dog allowed her to slip a lead on him. Amanda put Bear in a truck and took him to the vet.
Finally, the dog received the care it needed. In fact, Lost and Found Pets WA State waited 30 days for the dog’s family to appear, but never did. However, it didn’t take long to find his new family! Summer came and he got a seat and he fell in love with his new family and the couch!
“Look at this face, the dog has found his new home! He couldn’t have been happier. The dog feels good in his new home and gets more love and attention than imaginable!” Let us know your thoughts on this story, and do not forget to spread out the story to your friends and family on social media.
